On 17 March 2026, the Spring steering board meeting gathered at Bofors Hotel, Karlskoga. The management group reported the school’s progress to the industrial representatives. The school develops according to the initial plan. Doctoral students have finished planning their studies, and experimental campaigns are ongoing. A few delays due to hiring doctoral students and obtaining permissions are within the margins. The international board joined the meeting and suggested a handful of steps to increase the international activities, including short visits and research stays, e.g., funded via DAAD or Erasmus. The board decided to seek more partners for the 2nd admission of the school, m3c+, with an expected application deadline in January 2027. The school thanks SAAB Dynamics AB for hosting the meeting! The Autumn steering board meeting will be hosted by Kongsberg Maritime AB either on 27 or 28 October at Kristinahamn.
