m3c is an industrial research school (funded by KK-stiftelsen in Sweden) aiming to study the correlation between Microstructure, Mechanical properties, Manufacturing processes, and Components (m3c). The research scope of m3c: to contribute to the development of advanced alloys by enhancing a fundamental understanding of how different types of defects evolve and how they influence performance, has been developed based on the common strength of the Universities and seven leading industrial partners.
